Reflections Art

Calling all Artists!!

This year's PTA Reflections Theme is... Look Within.

The Reflections Art Program is a national arts recognition and achievement program for students sponsored by the National PTA. It is an excellent opportunity for students of all ages (Preschool to Grades 12) to unleash their creative talents, express themselves imaginatively in their artwork, and receive positive recognition for their original works of art.
All entries must be submitted in accordance to the rules and turned in on Wednesday, October 2nd between 8:30-9:30am in the Harvest Park Library.

Entries may be from one of these categories:
* Dance Choreography Film Production
* Literature
* Music Composition
* Photography
* Visual Arts

To participate, students must complete an online Entry Form AND complete a paper Entry Form (new this year) and submit an original piece, inspired by this year's theme: Look Within. Consent Forms are also required for Dance Choreography, Film Production and Music Composition entries.

Special Artist Division:
The Special Artist Division is a non-graded division limited to students with physical, cognitive or mental health challenges. These students will follow all general and arts category rules, but may submit an entry in the grade division most closely aligned to their cognitive or functional abilities.

Harvest Park will be hosting a Gallery & Awards Night (more info to be announced at a later time) to showcase the entries from our students. Winning entries from each category will then move ahead to the council level (all Pleasanton PTA schools) and be showcased at the Firehouse Arts Center in December. Winning entries at the council level are then chosen to move on to the district (Alameda County) level, then state, and finally the national level.
