The 8th Grade Promotion Dance Committee is hard at work preparing for this upcoming dance! The Committee needs your help to make this happen. Please consider volunteering to help with set-up or via donations. Sign up are here to volunteer or donate.

In addition to volunteers, we need donations to be used to purchase raffle prizes and food for the dance. During the course of the evening, all students will receive raffle tickets that will give them an opportunity to win many great items (gift cards, tickets to summer activities like game tickets & theme park tickets, and much more). If you have tickets you'd like to donate, contact Janet Grell  at janetgrell925@gmail.com. The Committee would like to receive all prizes and donations by Friday, May 11th.
Calling all 7th Grade Parents

It is a time honored tradition for the 7th grade parents to chaperone the 8th grade promotion dance on Friday, May 18th. Please consider paying it forward by volunteering. It is a fun night and a great chance to see what is ahead for your incoming 8th grade students. Pleasanton, CA: The Pleasanton PTA Council, in partnership with the Pleasanton Unified School District, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Excellence in Education Awards. Honorees will receive their
awards at the 28th Annual Excellence in Education Awards

Ceremony on Monday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the Firehouse Arts Center, 4444 Railroad Avenue in Pleasanton, California.

Friends and families of the honorees, as well as community members, are welcome to attend the ceremony to celebrate this achievement! Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

Special Needs Committee Community Mixer

Would you like to be part of a committee that...
  • Communicates directly with district administrators at monthly meetings?
  • Allows you to have your concerns heard and give feedback about district policies?
  • Provides insight into the resources and supports available for students and parents in the district?
  • Plans speaker events and activities for topics relevant to your child's needs?

Open House message from our Principal

Open House
THURSDAY, May 10, 2018
5:30-7:30 P.M.

You are cordially invited to the 2017-2018 Harvest Park Middle School Open House. During the evening's activities, you will have the opportunity to visit your child's classrooms. The purpose of Open House is to enjoy the successes of your students.  Please understand that this is not a time to conference with your child's teacher. If you wish to meet with your child's teacher, please send an email to the teacher and he/she would gladly meet with you or call you to address your concerns. Students may attend Open House, but only if they are accompanied by their parents. In addition, skateboards, bikes, and scooters are not allowed to be used on our campus. Our bike racks will be open should you choose to bike to campus.

 In addition to Open House, we'd like to invite you to come to an informational presentation about our new FLEX bell schedule for 2018-19 and the 1:1 device rollout for next school year. We will hold a 30 minute informational meeting in our gym at 5:30pm. 

We ask that you report to one of your child's classrooms at 6:00 P.M. where some announcements will be made on HPTV and then you may begin classroom visitations. Many teachers plan special activities, which are listed below.
