REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2016-2017

WALK-THROUGH DATES AND TIMES

MONDAY, AUGUST 8
Registration 9:00 - 2:30 p.m.
9:00 - 10:30 a.m. - Registration for 7th grade (A-L)
10:30 - 12:00 Noon - Registration for 7th grade (M-Z)
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Closed for lunch
1:00 - 2:30 p.m. - Registration for 8th grade (A-L)

TUESDAY, AUGUST 9

10:30 - 12:00 Noon - Registration for 8th grade (M-Z)

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
For ALL incoming 6th graders and new 7th and 8th grade students: A-L will be from 10 - 11:30 am, M-Z will be from 12:30 - 2:00. Students should meet in the lunch area (under shade structure).

If you are unable to attend registration at the assigned times, you may register in the office after9 am on Thursday, August 11 or Friday, August 12


ONLINE REGISTRATION STEPS
STARTING AUGUST 1st


1. Beginning August 1, log in* to the "Q" Parent Connection portal to fill out school information and registration forms for your student(s) at https://sis.pleasantonusd.net/ParentPortal/. Once you've logged on, start the registration process by clicking on the blue "Registration/Emergency Info" link at the top of the right side of the page. After you've completed the online process for each of your students, check your email for the message that confirms the information you entered on-line. You'll need to print those emails for Step 3.

2. Return to the "Q" Parent Connection Home Page, scroll down to the "Support Our Students!" area on the left side of the page to visit FutureFund, PPIE, PSEE and other partner organization websites where you can register for the School Directory, take care of school purchases such as yearbooks and PE clothes, join your school's PTA and donate to the non-profit organizations that help support your school and student(s).

3. You'll receive an email summarizing the information you submitted in Step 1... one email for each of your students. Bring a printout of that email along with two current Proof of Residency documents to the Walk-Through registration on your assigned time.

WHAT TO BRING (AUGUST 8TH - 9TH)

IMPORTANT PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW TO RECEIVE CLASS SCHEDULES:


1. TWO PROOFS OF RESIDENCY - All families returning to Harvest Park will be required by the district to produce TWO current (within the last two months) documents to show proof of residency in Pleasanton. These documents can be a PG&E., water, garbage or cable TV bill, a lease document or close of escrow papers. Please note that parents or guardians without TWO separate proofs of residency will not be able to continue with the process of registration.

2. CONFIRMING EMAIL FROM Q-PARENT CONNECTION - Please print and BRING TO WALK-THROUGH and at least two (2) local emergency contact telephone numbers other than the parents.
  • Change of Address - If a change of address has occurred over the summer, TWO current proofs of residency will be required. The acceptable proofs of residency documents are: current utility bill showing your service address, grant deed/home purchase, or home rental agreement.
  • Renewal of Affidavits - If you received a renewal for an affidavit of residency in the mail, please bring the completed form, as well as two current proofs of residency.
3. IMMUNIZATIONS - Class schedules will not be given to the parent/student without proof of the Tdap vaccination of ALL incoming 7th grade/new 8th grade students. If you have not already turned in your proof of vaccination, please bring proof on day of registration. (7th/new 8th Grade Students Only).

4. SUPPLIES AND DONATIONS for items such as yearbooks, organizers, PE Uniforms, PTSA membership, technology and general fund donations may be made through the FutureFund site
