Dear Harvest Park Families,
On behalf of the Harvest Park PTA, I would like to welcome you to the 2010-2011 school year! PTA is the oldest and largest volunteer association that works exclusively on behalf of ALL children and youth. For the last 113 years, the National PTA has promoted education, health and safety for ALL children and families. This goal is accomplished through the cooperative efforts of our Harvest Park familes and staff.
Parent involvement is critical to the success of ALL our students, and I would like to encourage everyone to join our dynamic and dedicated PTA. Participating at Harvest Park is a great way to be involved in your student's education. Your donation of time and talent to our school, as well as your participation in a variety of fundraisers of your choice can and will make a positive impact for ALL Harvest Park students.
PTA meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month, and are held in room A-2 (across from the school office) at 7:00 PM. Attending PTA meetings is an excellent way to meet our Principal and staff, be informed about school functions and PTA activities and programs, as well as meeting other parents. Our first PTA meeting will be held on September 14th. Please plan to attend!
